I bought a rug for the living room! Finally!!! I’ve wanted one since we moved into this house almost 3 years ago. I’ve been actively searching for over a year. I have a picture in my head of exactly what I want, and I can’t find it. I’ve searched enough stores, and the internet, to say for sure that it doesn’t exist. So I starting looking on Sunday for something that I like and would work in the room. This is how most people shop 
It was much easier. I found a rug I liked (after a year of shopping, I had a very good idea of what was out there), and Andy liked it too!!! We waited a day to make the decision, still liked it, so I bought it! I am so very very excited about this. I’ll pick it up next Monday (they didn’t have the 9ft by 12ft in stock). Andy and I are repainting most of the upper level. We’ve already painted our bedroom and we aren’t ready to do the baby’s room. We’re now doing everything else upstairs: the living room, hallway and entryway. We can’t do one area of the entryway and most of the kitchen (tall cupboards), so I’m looking into hiring someone to paint that area. Today we picked out all the colors! I’m very excited about the new color in the entryway. It’s currently beige, we’re painting it a sage green!
We plan to do the painting this weekend. I’m not sure we’re actually going to manage to get it all done in two days, but I love the idea of having it all done so soon!
